What is AquaOps?+

An operations platform for aquatic facilities: chemical testing with automatic status and Langelier Saturation Index evaluation, maintenance logging (freeform and preventive scheduling), compliance tracking (closure incidents, corrective actions, regulatory exports), real-time alerts, and a custom inspection/form builder — in one system instead of a binder, a spreadsheet, and a whiteboard.

Who is it for?+

Teams operating pools, spas, or water parks — from a single facility to a multi-location organization — who need to log chemical readings and maintenance from a phone at poolside, and stay ahead of regulatory closures.

Does it work on a phone at poolside, or is it desk-only?+

It's built mobile-first for on-deck data entry, and works just as well from a desk for review, scheduling, and reporting.

Can it handle multiple locations and pools?+

Yes. Organizations, locations, and pools are each their own level, with per-user, per-location access control — so a front-line operator and an org admin can see very different slices of the same organization.

How do I invite my team and control what they can access?+

Invite teammates from Settings, then grant exactly the permissions and locations they need — down to individual capabilities like logging chemical readings, managing compliance, or editing settings — rather than a fixed set of roles.

Do you offer a free trial, or is pricing public?+

We're early-stage and don't have self-serve signup or published pricing yet. Reach out on our contact page and we'll set up a demo and talk through what a trial looks like for your facility.

Can I import chemical logs I've been keeping on paper or in a spreadsheet?+

Yes — chemical records support CSV bulk import, so you can backfill your reading history instead of re-entering it one record at a time. Export your existing spreadsheet to CSV first; direct Excel/XLSX upload isn't supported.

If I ever need to switch tools, can I get my data out?+

Yes. Chemical records, closure-incident history, and completed forms all export to CSV, plus a PDF option for the Illinois IDPH daily report — your data isn't locked in.

How does compliance tracking work?+

Closure incidents, an exception ledger, and corrective-action tracking give you one auditable record of every closure and what it took to resolve it, with photo/PDF evidence attachment. Records aren't silently deleted — see our security page for details.

What regulations or states does AquaOps support?+

Automated closure detection and the IDPH daily operational report export are built around Illinois pool code today. Chemistry thresholds are configurable per pool, so you can adapt the ranges to your own jurisdiction, but state-specific closure logic and regulator-ready exports for other states aren't built yet — if you're outside Illinois, contact us and we'll tell you plainly what's covered.

Does it track CPO certifications?+

Yes — you can record who tested each reading, attach and track CPO certificates for your testers, and see verifier attribution directly on chemical records.

Can I get regulatory reports out of it?+

Yes — exports are generated by filling the actual forms your regulator asks for, rather than a generic report you'd have to reformat by hand.

Is my data secure and isolated from other organizations?+

Every table is scoped to your organization and enforced with Postgres Row-Level Security, not just application-layer checks. See our security page for the full breakdown.

How do I get help or report an issue?+
